This website belongs to Dominique Solia (ABN 82 578 069 934), a literacy and dyslexia intervention specialist based in Robina, Queensland, Australia. We provide education services to children and adults. If you have any question about privacy, email hello@dominiquesolia.com.au.
We are a small business, and we follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 as a matter of good practice. Dominique is the only person who works with children in the practice, and she holds a current Queensland Blue Card.
What we collect
This is an information website. There are no accounts, bookings, enrolments or payments here. The only information we collect is what you type into the contact form: your first and last name, email address, phone number, and your message.
Why we collect it and how it's handled
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry. The form sends your message to us as an email. It is not stored in a database or anywhere on the website. We don't sell or share your details, and we won't use them for marketing unless you ask us to.
Cookies and tracking
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and the site itself doesn't set cookies. The map on our contact page is a static image until you choose to load the interactive Google Map. When you do, Google may collect information and set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
Third parties and overseas processing
Our web host and our email provider process information as part of providing their services to us. Google Maps and our email provider may store or process data on servers outside Australia.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, including a secure (https) connection for this website and password-protected business email. No online transmission is completely secure, so please keep the form to the basics.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@dominiquesolia.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.
